Roper, other qualifiers
Fernando Hernández (Spanish)
Fonzarelli is a plane who tried to apply for the Wings Around the Globe competition.
Fonzarelli finishes with the fifth best time, qualifying for the competition. Dusty tries out, and makes it 1 decisecond behind his time. While Dusty is really sad about this, Fonzarelli compliments him on his great skill.
When Roper arrives in Propwash Junction, Dusty and his friends are told that Fonzarelli had been disqualified for illegal use of a certain fuel called nitromethane, that boosts your speed, and they are in the race.
Fonzarelli is painted light yellow, with navy blue lines and red text saying "Hi-Def Racing" on his side.
- Fonzarelli is modeled after an Extra EA-300.
- Coincidentally, his surname may be an homage to Henry Winkler's iconic Happy Days character, Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli.
- "Hey, pal, sixth place ain't nothing to be ashamed of. That was a heck of a run."
